흔들림 없는 유해란, 시즌 최종전 우승…통산 4승

흔들림 없이 강하다. 지난해 신인왕 출신 유해란(20)의 모습이 그랬다.

유해란은 14일 강원도 춘천 라비에벨 컨트리클럽 올드코스(파72)에서 열린 한국여자프로골프(KLPGA) 투어 시즌 마지막 대회인 SK쉴더스·SK텔레콤 챔피언십(총상금 10억원) 3라운드에서 버디 5개와 보기 2개로 3타를 줄여, 최종 합계 11언더파 205타로 정상에 올랐다.

2위 박주영(30·8언더파 208타)의 추격을 따돌린 유해란은 우승상금 2억원을 챙겼다. 시즌 2승을 거둔 유해란은 2019년 프로 데뷔 이래 통산 4승째를 올렸다. 지난해 이 대회 1타차 준우승의 아쉬움도 날렸다.

이날 선두(8언더파)로 출발한 유해란은 1번홀(파5) 버디로 발걸음을 재촉했다. 하지만 박주영이 6번홀(파5) 버디로 추격했고, 유해란이 6번, 7번홀 연속보기로 흔들리는 사이 격차는 1타로 좁혀졌다.

유해란은 8번홀(파4) 버디로 2타차로 벌리는가 했지만, 9번홀(파4) 버디 등 박주영의 맹렬한 추격으로 13번홀(파4)을 마쳤을 때는 둘이 9언더파 공동 선두가 됐다.

하지만 박주영이 14번, 15번홀 연속 보기로 스스로 무너지는 사이 유해란이 15번홀(파5) 버디로 3타차로 벌리면서 쐐기를 박았다. 이후 박주영이 버디를 추가했지만 유해란이 고삐를 늦추지 않으면서 여유 있게 트로피를 확보했다. 유해란은 “지난해 아쉬웠던 대회에서 멋지게 우승해 기쁘다. 연속 보기 때는 오늘 할 보기를 다했다고 생각하고 플레이했다”고 말했다.

250번째 출전 대회에서 생애 첫 우승에 도전한 박주영은 준우승에 만족해야 했다. 이가영(22)이 6언더파 210타로 3위, 이다연(24), 박현경(21), 장하나(29) 등 5명이 공동 4위(4언더파 212타)에 포진했다.

한편 전날 컷오프된 박민지(23)는 대상과 상금(15억2천만원), 다승(6승) 부문에서 3관왕을 차지했다. 장하나는 최저타수상(69.9088타)을 굳혔고, 송가은(20)이 공동 14위(1언더파 215타)에 오르면서 신인상을 확정했다.
